The pro Dota 2 brothers, SumaiL and YawaR have now joined for the first time in their pro Dota 2 career. Along with three other players from Newbee and VGJ.Storm. The team is named Quincy Crew and is based in North America.
The Hassan brothers will join Quinn “CCnC” Callahan, Arif “MSS” Anwar, and Avery “SVG” Silverman. The news of the latest roster that first appeared leaked when Kurtis “aui_2000” Ling was involved in a dispute between Figthing Pepegas and Suminc Quincy Crew.
This will be SumaiL’s first team outside of Evil Geniuses. SumaiL had previously made a debut victory with the US-based organization, he and his team won the Dota Asia Championship and The International in 2015. Although there are no shortcomings with his personal achievements, the EG and SumaiL dressing rooms have not carved a trophy for the past few years. And now, SumaiL must fight against his former EG team instead.
The first Quincy Crew consisted of a former VGJ.Storm roster who placed the top eight at The International 2018. They were forced to leave their organization due to Valve’s new Pro Dota Circuit rules at several organizations in its tournament. After that, the roster was taken by Forward Gaming, which was unfortunately disbanded before they could head to TI9.
While awaiting official information from the newest Quincy Crew roster, Team Liquid and Alliance Dota 2 have been officially disbanded. American teams such as Complexity, Cloud9, and OpTic Gaming have the potential to rejoin the Dota 2 world, given the potential of this new roster.
