ESL UK welcomes Mercedes-Benz to become an official sponsor partner to support the Dota 2 tournament at the ESL Premiership. Until now, the seasonal competition has successfully supported Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Rainbow Six Siege.
This was revealed by James Dean (Managing Directot of ESL UK) saying that the partnership between Mercedes-Benz and ESL has proven successful and has resulted in two ESL One Birmingham tournaments that are exceptional for Dota 2 in 2018 and 2019.
With Mercedes-Benz involved in the national scale eSport tournament, that will be the success expected by ESL Premiership. It also offers a more varied offer to players and fans by involving more communities in it.
ESL added Mercedess-Benz as its global mobility partner in October last year by extending its agreement to 31 December 2020. Mercedes-Benz also cooperates with Intel and Currys PC World as ESL Premiership.
ESL Premiership Dota 2 is a tournament intended for amateurs and semi-professionals from England and Ireland to demonstrate their skills. The competition will start its four-week tournament, eliminating the top two players in the preliminary round and continuing into the ESL finals. Premiership in Manchester on November 24 2019.
Mercedes-Benz has performed well in expanding its footprint in the eSport world over the past year with a large initiative and agreement, this shows that the car giant is supporting the competition aimed at novice professional players. For ESL UK, it can also expand the Premiership offer for Dota 2, especially after the success of the ESL One Birmingham tournament in 2018 and 2019.
